I’m a physical therapist and neuroscientist passionate about science communication. I like simplifying complex concepts using a mix of storytelling, technology, and human-centered design.
Also, I like noodles and gardening.
I got a B.S. in Physiology and Neuroscience at UCSD, then a doctorate in Physical Therapy and a PhD in neuroscience at UCSF.
Clearly, I like school and California.
I've created video and podcast content to explain topics like rare diseases, genetics, physiology, and biomechanics. We've helped clients like the Mayo Clinic, University of Pennsylvania, and National Rare Disease Organization. Some examples below.
The molecules of the cell are the building blocks to our bodies. Like bricks and columns coming together to make a building, macromolecules come together to form the cells that make up living things.
Neurons are like highways. They transport information to allow us to walk, talk, jump, and more. Learn what enables rapid delivery of messages along our neurons, and what can go wrong when this mechanism is disrupted in diseases such as multiple sclerosis.
I co-host a podcast exploring the lives and discoveries of influential scientists. In this episode on a series on psychedelics, we discuss MDMA's history and how can help change mental health treatment. Find all episodes here.
